I hold a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, an Associate of Science, and a certificate in Diversity, Intercultural and Community Engagement. I am almost finished with a certificate in Data Science from IBM. See below for more information.

Bachelor of Science, with Research Distinction

The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH
August 2017 – May 2020

I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Neuroscience and a minor in the History of Science. I worked in the Cognitive Control Lab for three years, presented my research internationally, and defended my thesis in March 2020.

In 2018, I was awarded The Ohio State Alumni Association Scholarship for academic excellence and community leadership, and in 2019 I was awarded an Undergraduate Research Scholarship. I served as the Founder/President of The NeuroLaw Group for two years. In 2020, I was the only undergraduate invited by the Battelle Center for Science, Engineering, and Policy to attend the AAAS Catalyzing Advocacy in Science and Engineering conference in Washington, DC.

I was on the Dean’s List every semester and am an inducted member of Phi Kappa Phi, Nu Rho Psi: The National Neuroscience Honorary, and Phi Alpha Theta: The National History Honor Society.

Diversity, Intercultural and Community Engagement Certificate

Multicultural Center, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH
August 2017 – April 2018

In April 2018, I completed a year-long certificate program through the Multicultural Center at Ohio State, focusing primarily on leadership and gender-related issues in the justice and healthcare systems. I trained on LGBT+ safe space issues, attended women’s leadership cohort meetings, and participated in workshops and dialogues focused on creating sustainable change at the community level for at-risk persons.

Associate of Science, Honors

Parkland College, Champaign, IL
June 2015 – May 2017

I graduated with my A.S. in 2017. My coursework included statistics, calculus, biology, and chemistry, and I also studied various topics in psychology, sociology, and the humanities.

I was on the Speech & Debate team for two years and received the Fine and Applied Arts Scholarship in Communication because of my outstanding performance during the 2015-2016 season. In the 2016-2017 season, I led the team to a State Championship in Parliamentary Debate, defeating teams four-year schools from across the state.

I was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society in 2016.
